Why we built it
Caring for an aging parent or relative usually means juggling phone calls, sticky notes, and gut feelings about whether everything is OK. We thought families deserved better tools. ElderAssist combines medications, location, wellness check-ins, emergency response, and caregiver coordination in one place — and we priced it so families who need it most can actually afford it.
From the founder
I'm Jay Williams, founder of ElderAssist. I built this because the existing tools for families caring for someone they can't see every day felt designed by people who'd never had to do it — fragmented apps, hidden upsells, missing the basics. My sister, who's in an extended-care facility, has helped me test ElderAssist from the start. It's built for exactly that situation: when the family and the person they love aren't in the same town.
What we care about
Honest pricing
Every paid family plan includes every feature. The tiers differ only by how many people you're caring for. No "upgrade to unlock" surprises after you've signed up.
Properly localized
We don't just translate buttons. Currency, time zones, emergency numbers, and care conventions all change with where you live. ElderAssist supports English and Spanish for the United States, with more languages on the way.
Built around your feedback
User feedback drives what we build next. Bug reports don't disappear into a ticket queue, and feature requests get read by the people who can act on them. If something is broken or missing, we want to know.
